LOOKING AHEAD

Our Seeds

Just as seeds carry the promise of future growth, our work in 2026 is guided by a commitment to deepening Jewish belonging, strengthening Reform Judaism’s moral voice in North America and Israel, and building a thriving Movement for the future.

These commitments come to life through initiatives including Every Voice, Every Vote; Biennial; and immersive youth programming. Together, these efforts ground our work in our purpose and the future we are building together.

In 2026, we will gather at Biennial for the first time since 2019, renewing our commitment to shared leadership and collective vision for the future, investing in Jewish life rooted in meaning, connection, and responsibility.

Every Voice, Every Vote

Every Voice, Every Vote is the URJ’s signature nonpartisan voter engagement campaign that works to ensure that every voice is heard and every vote counted.

As we look ahead to the November 2026 midterm elections, our goal is to make civic engagement accessible and collaborative.

We aim to grow our reach to 750,000 voters in 2026

Biennial

The URJ Biennial (December 10-13, 2026) in Philadelphia will bring together Reform Jews from across North America for a landmark gathering of learning, prayer, and community building as we celebrate the diversity of our Movement.

The Biennial creates a space to reflect on how we can continue building enduring communities of belonging by bringing Reform Jews together to learn, wrestle with hard questions, and reimagine their roles in communal life.

Immersive Youth Programming

Our immersive youth experiences across camp, Israel, and social justice remain central to cultivating the next generation. In 2026, we are continuing to deepen the connections between camp, L’Taken, and Yallah! Israel to create continuous pathways from early engagement to leadership development. This enables young people to experience Judaism as a continually evolving journey of belonging, learning, and action.
